High school senior Jessica Olmstead of Battle Creek shot the bear during a hunting trip last month in Oba, Ontario.
The 17-year-old credits her father Tim with teaching her how to track, how to hunt, and how to stuff a rock in the dead bear's mouth to make it look like it's smiling.

I'm not real big on killing wild animals for sport, but even I allow for bow hunting -- at least the animal has a chance. And, we hope, she and her family will eat the bear and use its skin for clothing. Or a rug for her Playboy spread, at least.
YAS, I agree with you in theory, but I've had cars with less technology than that bow. I'm not sure LIGHT could outrun it. (Meanwhile, the bow is dubbed the "Matthew Passion" model, though I don't recall any apostles actually killing wildlife while dressed as bushes.)
