They opened for a Katy Perry show we went to in LA. Very hip, and a bit sacrilegious. They are known for the first song to go to #1 with a curse word. The song? "Fucking Boyfriend." Some of their stuff has been used in movies and tv shows. Tres indie, but I liked them a did my kid. D
Their first album got a big rave review someplace, which was enough for me to check them out. I bought the CD, listened to it, and then had a hell of a time finding someone who'd take it off my hands (free!). De gustibus and all that, but for me they exemplify all the ickiness of typically overproduced, mashed-up throwaway "celebrity" music.

I'll be honest: they actually do sound intriguing. I'll keep an eye out for them.
